NHK World TV ? Programme Monitor Report (Contact Me, Please!)

From the demolition of the Fukuromachi Elementary School, hidden messages under the concrete have been revived after more than 50 years. Indeed it is a touching episode for humanities with stories behind the victims and their relatives. The relatives could get clearer and precise answers for what the final and dying messages and moments from the victims. Even there would be a chance that the messages were not from the right person, in Suzue Tanaka's case, yet they would relieve that the victims were not painfully towards death for a long time.

I hope the messages and related materials would be fully preserved in the Peace Museum established in 2002, as it is a sign for the maintenance of peaceful world and reflection on what people did during that time. With the help of Tokai University and the technological advancement, infra-red emission was used to analyse the chalk writing on the concrete, which traced on what the sufferers have been done in their final moments.

Survivor Keiko Murakami brought out the horrible truth when talking to the primary school students on the influences from the atomic bomb, that the faces swollen and eye-ball fell off from the victims. It reminds the next generation of the consequences from the war, in any kinds of weapons. The messages from the School, which is near the epicenter, are the facts to let their families knew they were alive at that moment, while the remaining was already part of the history, where they've gone, and where they've ended were being rested in the relatives' heart.
